1970s Hippie Chic Quilted Maxi Skirt
In the early 1970’s even the higher-end department stores like I. Magnin were capitalizing on the new craft movement. Seriously, dahling, why hurt your lovely manicured fingers making your own quilted clothing?
This delightful vintage patchwork skirt in black and white gingham is nicely finished with red and white cross stitch and adorable applique strawberries. Buttons all the way open in front, fully lined with white cotton.
Modern size medium, measures 29” waist, 41” length.
Mint condition, no evidence this was ever worn.
